"We moved from England to the USA during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s due to a work related promotion and were introduced to Betty Davey , as we know her, at a bulldog show in New Jersey. We soon found out that Betty was not only a Breeder Judge with an encyclopedic knowledge of the breed but also a great artist whose paintings  and prints of Bulldogs are very highly prized in the Fancy. We are fortunate enough to possess a print of her painting of “Pugilists” head , the subject is one of the most notable specimens in England during the early twentieth century, it is so lifelike that it soon becomes the subject of admiration and conversation whenever we have visitors, even non doggy people cannot help but admire."

"We have purchased three of Betty Davey’s Bulldog masterpieces. They hang in our workroom in our kennels so family, friends and visitors can all admire them. We live 1 hour south of Sydney Australia and have been breeding Bulldogs for 25 years now. Our prefix is EmBolden. When purchasing from Betty she included a beautiful note and the delivery was trouble free. Wishing Betty all the best and with all her future endeavours. She is a extremely talented lady."
